UK’s THE HRH DUKE OF YORK VISITS FPT SOFTWARE – HARVEY NASH SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT CENTER  

Hanoi, Vietnam, 5th June 2006 – HRH The Duke of York today witnessed the signing ceremony to renew the agreement for the FPT Software - Harvey Nash (UK company) software development centre (SDC) in Hanoi. The Duke of York, who also toured Harvey Nash’s SDC in FPT Software’s offices, was visiting in his role as the UK's Special Representative for International Trade and Investment. 

Impressed with his deep knowledge in the software field, Dr. Truong Gia Binh, President & CEO of FPT Corporation, commented:

About FPT Software – Harvey Nash Software Development Center (SDC)

The SDC is a partnership between FPT Software and Harvey Nash, which began in 2000 and has just been renewed for a further 3-year term.

The SDC focuses on offshore software development for Harvey Nash’s clients outside of Vietnam – primarily in the UK, but also in Europe, Asia and North America. The SDC has some 200 developers, system architects and business analysts with the skills to meet most client needs.

The center predicts stellar growth built on its successful delivery to such demanding global clients as Capita (government sector), Discovery (media), Honda (automotive) and London Scottish Bank (financial services).
