Truong Gia Binh, FPT Corporation Chairman and CEO, FPT
Software Chairman
Binh established FPT Corporation (the
parent company of FPT Software) in 1988 and
continues to grow FPT with his strong, global
outlook. Binh is the most influential person with
regard to the Government’s policies on software
development. Due to his support, FPT was appointed
to be the key investor in the Hoa Lac High-tech
Park, one of the Top 3 projects prioritized by the
Vietnam-Japan Joint Declaration, signed by the two
countries’ Prime Ministers in 2006. Currently, Binh
is the Chairman and CEO of FPT Corporation. He also
serves as the Dean of the Hanoi School of Business (HSB);
and the Chairman of the Vietnam Software Association
(VINASA). Binh acquired his PhD in Mathematics and
Physics in Moscow University in 1983.

Nguyen Thanh Nam

Nguyen Thanh Nam, CEO and Managing Director
Nam received his PhD in Mathematics in
Moscow in 1988 and began his career at FPT
Corporation, as one of the first Programmers, System
Analysts and Designers, in the same year. He then
focused on business software in banking and
enterprise management and his team participated in
almost all the major computerization projects in
Vietnam during the next decade. In 1997, Nam and
Binh were determined to establish FPT Software as a
key player in the global software market. With the
establishment of the FPT Software division in late
1999, Nam was appointed CEO and Managing Director.
His vision is to position FPT Software as the
region's leading software service provider.

Nguyen Lam Phuong
|
Nguyen Lam Phuong, COO and Deputy
Managing Director
Phuong began his career at FPT Corporation
as a developer after having received his Master of
Science in Computing Science and Networking from the
Moscow Power Engineering Institute in 1991. Prior to the
establishment of FPT Software, Phuong worked as a
Project Manager and then a Group Leader for FPT
Corporation’s subsidiary (FPT Software Solutions). He
was appointed Deputy Managing Director of FPT Software
in 1999 and obtained an Executive MBA from the
University of Hawaii in 2003.

Le The Hung
|
Hung,
Gained his PhD in Mathematics and Physics
in Russia in 1985 and joined FPT Corporation from its
establishment in 1988. He then served Mr. Binh as his
assistant from 1995-1998 before leading the FPT Software
Quality Assurance Department and Software Engineering
Process Group (SEPG). Under his leadership, FPT Software
has been successfully assessed at ISO 9001:2000, CMMI
level 5 and BS7799-2:2002. Hung has been CFO of FPT
Software since 2003.

Bui Thi Hong
Lien

Bui Thi Hong Lien, Vice
President, Managing Director of FPT Software Japan Ltd.
Lien, Started her career in FPT’s
Software Quality Assurance Department in 1999. When FPT
opened a branch in India (1999), Lien was appointed CFO
and Managing Director. Then she became the Director of
Business Unit 8 from 2002 to 2005. Lien has been the
Managing Director of FPT Software Japan Ltd., a
subsidiary of FPT Software, since its establishment in
2005.
